Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) Licensed Facilities
At MCC, we are proud to be fully licensed by the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). Our licensing ensures that we comply with strict guidelines for health, safety, and child development. One of the key components of our compliance is following the DCFS-mandated teacher-to-child ratios, ensuring that each child receives the appropriate level of attention and care based on their age group. By maintaining these ratios and upholding DCFS standards, we guarantee your child is receiving the highest quality care at all times.
Awarded Silver Circle of Quality Award Continuously Since 2018
The Silver Circle of Quality is a prestigious recognition awarded by ExceleRate Illinois to early childhood programs that demonstrate a commitment to quality beyond basic state licensing requirements. At MCC, earning the Silver Circle of Quality reflects our dedication to providing high-quality care and education. Programs that achieve this level of recognition meet rigorous standards in areas such as learning environment, staff qualifications, instructional quality, and family engagement. This award signifies our continuous effort to improve and provide an enriching, safe, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Our Approach to Learning and Development
At MCC, we take a holistic approach to early childhood learning and development, ensuring that each child’s unique needs are supported. Our highly qualified teachers conduct regular assessments and observations to track progress, which are shared with families during routine parent-teacher conferences. This allows us to maintain open communication and provide individualized support for each child. We also collaborate with developmental therapists who routinely screen our children to ensure they are meeting important milestones. Our state-of-the-art curriculum is designed to foster independence and prioritizes hands-on learning experiences, encouraging children to explore, create, and grow at their own pace..
Growing minds need fuel to stay engaged.
Our Approach to Nutrition and Health
Studies show that a healthy body = a healthy mind. At MCC, we believe that nourishing your child with healthy meals is key to their overall well-being and development. Our menus, carefully curated by nutritionists and doctors, ensure that every meal—breakfast, lunch, and snack—is packed with wholesome, balanced nutrition. All of our in- house meals are prepared from scratch daily, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. We go the extra mile to ensure our commitment to health and wellness.
Starting with our drinking water - we regularly test all water for toxic chemicals and heavy metals such as lead.
We ensure all HVAC air filters are constantly checked and maintained so the air we breathe is clean and pure.
We run special and routine health inspections of all facilities and food, so we can certify that we make real food that is validated for different diets and cultural preferences, and of course, delicious!
